The Story of Tecnam and the Pascale Brothers
Tecnam is one of the top manufacturers of piston aircraft in the world. Many people may recognize the world-famous P92 light aircraft, along with various other Tecnam models, but very few know the rich history of this Italian company that began in the 1920s when its two founders, Gino and Nino Pascale, were born. Here is a story of two brothers who never gave up dreaming, who built their very first aeroplane in a craft workshop in the basement. A story of brave and determined young men who passed through difficult years without ever losing their enthusiasm. The first paper planes, the first wooden models. The war times they endured together. The “Italian miracle” of post-war reconstruction. The excitement of air races.
